The New School of Architecture and Design had nearly 300 students and faculty volunteer for their 2012 Day of Service project. According to the school, this Day of Service—a campuswide volunteer initiative to give back to the community — choose to support the San Diego River Park Foundation’s mission to create the San Diego River Park System and help to support long-term care of the river’s unique natural and cultural resources by engaging the public and local businesses in stewardship activities.
